Green Room is starting to look like on of the coolest films of 2016. The trailer for the movie is absolutely incredible, the cast is inspired, and the premise is eerily disturbing. Green Room premiered at TIFF and was a massive success, receiving rave reviews. As we move closer to it’s impending release, the marketing team for the studio is starting up the ante with some cool viral ploys. We now have what maybe our coolest marketing yet in the form of motion posters for each of the main characters in the film. Check out links to the motion posters that dropped on Vimeo below.

Green Room is starring Patrick Stewart as an insane club owner hosting a punk band called The Ain’t Rights, which features Anton Yelchin, Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole and Callum Turner. The band is looking for quick cash to get home at the end of a long tour so they take a gig at a less than reputable establishment, with a seedy owner, and a raucous crowd. All seems to go smoothly until the band walks in on something it should not have, and as a result they are held captive by Stewart. Green Room is directed by Jeremy Saulnier and is set for wide release on April 29th 2016.

Here is the official synopsis for the film:

Down on their luck punk rockers The Ain’t Rights are finishing up a long and unsuccessful tour, and are about to call it quits when they get an unexpected booking at an isolated, run-down club deep in the backwoods of Oregon. What seems merely to be a third-rate gig escalates into something much more sinister when they witness an act of violence backstage that they weren’t meant to see. Now trapped backstage, they must face off against the club’s depraved owner, Darcy Banker (Stewart), a man who will do anything to protect the secrets of his nefarious enterprise. But while Darcy and his henchmen think the band will be easy to get rid of, The Ain’t Rights prove themselves much more cunning and capable than anyone expected, turning the tables on their unsuspecting captors and setting the stage for the ultimate life-or-death showdown.

  1. I am really excited about this movie! I am also glad that the marketing doesn’t seem to give away too much, you know? I feel a lot of movies recently have been spoiled by trailers/posters.
